Unit 7: Topic: Talk about obeying traffic rules (Nói về việc tuân thủ luật giao thông)

Hello teacher and everyone. My name is Nhi. I am 12 years old and I’m a student in class 7. I go to Hà Huy Tập secondary school.

Today, I would like to talk about obeying traffic rules.

Traffic rules are very important for everyone. For pedestrians, we should look carefully before crossing the street, use the pavement or footpath, and cross at a zebra crossing. We must not cross the road when the traffic light is red.

For cyclists, we should always keep both hands on the handlebars, wear helmets, use the cycle lane, and give a signal before turning. We must not carry more than one passenger.

For passengers, we should fasten our seatbelts, wait for the bus to stop before getting on or off, and never talk to the driver or stick body parts out of the window.

We should obey traffic rules to stay safe, protect others, and avoid accidents.
