I live in Duong Lam village. It’s an old village outside Ha noi. It takes only one and a half hour from Ha noi center to this area. Tourists can easily visit to Duong Lam by bus, car and motorbike. Duong Lam village is famous for ancient houses system. It has many ancient pagodas, traditional houses and temples. Around the ancient houses are the paths, green gardens with betel and areca trees. Around the village are banyan trees, village’s gate, rice fields, temples and wells. All of them combine together and make an unique village with the feature of ancient Vietnam, a peaceful area that is very hard to find in modern life of cities. Besides these, visitors can observe the locals making specialities, such as keo doi, che lam, etc. and then try them.
